Rivals.com has released their new rankings for the class of 2010. Here’s where some of Fred Hill’s targets stacked up:
– Doron Lamb is now a five star recruit and is listed as the 21st player in the nation
– Kyrie Irving is now listed as the 27th player in the country; a borderline five star recruit. He is the 4th ranked poing guard in the class. You can be sure that he is one of Rutgers’ top 2 targets for the 2010 class. Fred Hill will go after him with all that he’s got.
– Tobias Harris also made a nice jump to 33rd in the nation; another borderline five star prospect. He will likely join Irving as one of Rutgers’ top 2 targets. And the good news is that he seems to like Rutgers quite a bit. It’s going to be a battle though.
– St. Pat’s bigman, Markus Kennedy comes in at #131. The rising power forward has Rutgers in his top 2 with Villanova.
I think the ideal class would be Kyrie Irving, Tobias Harris, and Markus Kennedy. And that could very well happen before all is said and done.
